Community First Selects New College Interns for 2025 Spring Program

Community First Guam Federal Credit Union is pleased to announced today the selection of six Guam students for its Spring 2025 Community First Internship Program, which develops and mentors college students from the University of Guam (UOG) and Guam Community College (GCC) to pursue careers in the finance industry, learn the fundamentals of financial literacy and personal finance management, and be an integral part of the Credit Union’s research and development activities. The internship program is held at the Community First Student-Run Credit Union (SRCU) in Mangilao.

The interns selected for the 2025 Spring program are as follows:

The interns utilize their experience to springboard into a career in the finance industry while gaining valuable experience working part-time while earning their degrees. Students work around their class schedules and train as a team two days a week.

Community First launched its SRCU in January 2018 in the heart of Mangilao, strategically located near the UOG and GCC. This student-run service center, the first of its kind in Guam, is operated by college students enrolled at UOG and GCC. The service center is open to serve all existing and new Community First members.  The SRCU has trained and developed more than 50 interns since 2018.
